Please see the attached flyer advertising the first steering group meeting in relation to Norton Farm’s Community Garden.

In addition to agricultural activities, Norton Farm is keen to utilise part of the land to encourage community engagement and care for the environment.
Plans include the planting of fruit trees, the development of rentable allotments, and the creation of dedicated spaces for charitable and community organisations to host educational workshops, particularly around food production and sustainability.
They also aim to install a polytunnel to enable customers to pick their own fresh salads, as well as the use of shipping containers for secure equipment storage.
They are currently in the early stages of development and would welcome attendance from anyone who has an interest in this exciting new project or experience with community gardens/farms/allotments/sustainability projects.

Currently there is no land available in Twigworth for this type of project, so we are happy to share this for anyone who might like to join.
