Planning Consultation – 25/00199/CONDIS – Land Parcels 1635 1730 & 2043 Brook Lane, Down Hatherley

Twigworth Green residents who live along Apley Road and Sorrell Street should be aware of a planning consultation in respect of the proposed Brook Lane housing development.

This is in reference to Planning Application 21/00976/OUT for residential development (up to 160 dwellings) and associated works including demolition, infrastructure, open space and landscaping with vehicular access from the A38.

The developer is looking to to discharge a ‘Planning Condition’ on the Brook Lane access.

Should this access be approved, there will be significant traffic implications, both during construction and ad infinitum when the development is completed, in particular for those Twigworth Green residents living along the route from the A38 roundabout on Ironbridge Road, Apley Road, Sorrell Street to the proposed Brook Lane crossing point.

Twigworth Parish Councillors will be commenting on this but anyone can submit comments on any planning application.
